1. Serving the website

When the site is called up, technical operation unavoidably processes connection data. This can include your IP address, the date and time of access, the URL requested, the referrer, browser type and operating system.

The processing serves to deliver the site, to ensure stability and security, and to prevent abuse.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Recipients: the technical hosting provider used to deliver the site.

2. Contact by email and contact form

If you email me directly or use the contact form on this site, I process the details you provide in order to deal with your enquiry. These may include your name, email address, telephone number, company, subject and message.

When the form is submitted, the data entered are transmitted to the external form service FormSubmit at formsubmit.co and forwarded from there to dominik@campdoerfl.de. Technical connection data such as IP address, timestamp and browser information may also be processed.

Measuring reach with Cloudflare Web Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., is used to measure the reach of this site. It records page views, the paths visited, the referring domain, the country of origin, broad device and browser details, and load times.

The service works without cookies, without accessing local storage and without fingerprinting. No persistent user identifier is assigned and no recognition takes place across different websites. I cannot link the data to you personally; for that reason no consent is required for its use, and the measurement is independent of your choices in the consent dialogue.

Recipients: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in a data-minimising statistical analysis of how the site is used.

Anonymised measurement of success

To improve the site, only interactions that indicate success are counted: clicks on contact routes, starting a form, and successful or failed submission. What is stored is the event type, the page path, the target category, a broad device class and the referring domain. No cookies, no persistent user identifier and no form content are stored. Storage takes the form of a structured entry in Cloudflare Workers Logs and is deleted automatically after seven days at the latest.

Recipients: myself and the form service used, FormSubmit / Devro LABS.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where pre-contractual communication is concerned, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Consent management and local storage

This site stores your choices on essential functions and external media locally in your browser, so the question does not have to be asked on every page.

At present this uses the entry campdoerfl-consent . The details are described on the page Cookies & local storage .

Legal basis: Section 25(2)(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. YouTube videos

Several pages on this site embed YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode via youtube-nocookie.com . This content loads only once you have agreed to the “External media” category.

Once you allow it, a connection to YouTube or Google may be established automatically when the video comes into view. This may process your IP address, device and browser information and usage data. I have no influence over any further processing by YouTube or Google.

5. Postcode radius search using Photon

In the triathlon and running calendars you can enter a postcode to find events within a chosen radius. Only when you actively start the search is the postcode, together with the selected country, sent to the public Photon interface at photon.komoot.io . Photon is an open-source geocoding service based on OpenStreetMap data, provided by komoot GmbH.

For technical reasons the provider also processes connection data such as your IP address, browser information and the time of the request. Camp Dörfl does not store the postcode you enter and builds no user profile from it.

6. External links

This site links to external services, in particular Instagram, YouTube and partner websites. Clicking such a link takes you off this site. From that point only the privacy policy of the provider concerned applies.

7. Retention periods

Personal data are stored only for as long as necessary for the purposes concerned, or as long as statutory retention obligations require.

Technical connection data are processed only to the extent needed for operation, security and fault analysis. I keep the contents of enquiries only for as long as needed to deal with your request or to meet legal obligations.
