Accessibility

These notes describe the current state of accessibility on campdoerfl.de. Last updated 17 June 2026.

Current state

The site is built responsively and designed for current desktop and mobile devices.
There is a skip link to the main content, and navigation and action elements are in principle reachable by keyboard.
Images that carry meaning are given alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology where that makes sense.
A full formal WCAG or BITV audit has not yet been carried out.

1. Measures already in place

The site uses a clear page structure with main navigation, main content and footer. Key interactive elements such as the navigation, the contact area and the consent dialogue can in principle be operated without a mouse.

Contrast, scaling and layout are designed for current standard views on mobile devices and desktop screens.

2. External content

Embedded YouTube content comes from a third party. That provider is also responsible for its technical and editorial accessibility.

3. Known limits

The site deliberately uses large images, stage photography and visually strong layouts. In some cases that can be less comfortable for users with particular requirements than a purely functional design.

Videos that load automatically after consent may also create additional hurdles.

4. Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is treated as ongoing work. Whenever anything technical or editorial changes, navigation, legibility, contrast and alternative text should be checked alongside it.

5. Finding your way around

The main areas are reachable through the main navigation, the footer and internal links. These include personal training, corporate fitness, events, partners, contact and the legal information pages.

Headings, buttons and forms are built so that their purpose is clear as quickly as possible.

6. Images and media

Images that carry meaning are given descriptive alternative text. For video, permission is requested before external media load, so that the decision is a conscious one.
